of Joliet, Illinois, at Joliet Area Community Hospice Home, Saturday, January 16, 2010. Age 89 years.

Survived by his loving wife, of 59 years, Shirley V. (nee Bayliss) Mussman, a son Kurt (Mary Connolly) Mussman of Chicago.

Preceded in death by a son Mark (in infancy) and a daughter Kay E. Mussman (2006), his parents George and Helen Mussman, and a brother Robert Mussman.

Born in Crete, IL and had lived in Valparaiso, IN for many years and in Joliet for past 8 years. Former president of the Northwestern Indiana Telephone Co. and was a lifelong veteran of the telephone industry. Member of Westminster Presbyterian Church.

Funeral services will be held at the Carlson-Holmquist-Sayles Funeral Home, 2320 Black Rd. Joliet, IL, Wednesday, January 20th at 10:30 A.M. Rev. Matt T. Robinson officiating. Interment in Elmhurst Cemetery. Memorials to Westminster Presbyterian Church or the Joliet Area Community Hospice will be appreciated. Visitation will be held Tuesday from 3:00 – 8:00 P.M.
