"Dawg" Of Joliet, at Silver Cross Hospital, Tuesday, June 22, 2010. Age 55.
Survived by his Vickie (nee Sayles), a son Kevin, four brothers Jack (Cheryl-deceased) of Joliet, Gene (Sharon) of St. Charles, Tom (Sue) and Daniel Hare both of Joliet. His God son Todd Hare and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins also survive.
Preceded in death by his parents John and Helen Hare, his grandmother Elsie Hare, a brother-in-law Tom Sayles.
Born in Joliet and lifelong resident, a 1973 Joliet East High School Kingsmen . Employed with the Lockport-Romeoville Post Office since 1974. An avid golfer, golfed with the Thursday Thirsty Night golf league, member of the Old Timers Baseball Association, Ingalls Park AC, and Northwest Recreational Club, and past member of Galli’s AC.
Funeral Information
Funeral services will be held from the Carlson-Holmquist-Sayles Funeral Home, 2320 Black Rd., Saturday, June 26, 2010 at 9:30 A.M. to St. Patrick’s Catholic Church for a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10:00 A.M. Interment St. Patrick Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be held Friday 2-4 and 6-8 P.M.

Memorials to the family will be appreciated. The family requests in honor of Jim’s love of golf to wear golf or casual shirts.
