Veronica M. Chapla
December 15, 1947 - July 29, 2010
"Vonnie" (nee Sitar) Passed away suddenly after a brief illness Thursday, July 29, 2010. Age 62.
Survived by her three loving children Deborah Chapla of Japan, John (Serena) Chapla of Florida and Theresa (Chris) Watkins of Joliet. Three grandchildren Aidan, Gabrielle and Asher: former husband and friend Leonard Chapla; a sister Anne (Bob) Carey, two brothers Joe (Sally) Sitar and Jim (Bonnie) Sitar. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive.
Preceded in death by her parents Joseph and Anna (nee Budzinski) Sitar.
Her grandchildren and children were the light of her soul and loved the ocean and Disney.
Funeral Information
Funeral services will be held at the Carlson-Holmquist-Sayles Funeral Home, 2320 Black Road, Wednesday, August 4, 2010 at 7:00 PM. Visitation Wednesday from 3:00 PM until time of services.
